Method of Edit: I edit on a hard copy of the manuscript or on-line using Microsoft Word track changes functions. When applicable, I will quote a firm price for each method.
Turn-around time: Usually 3 -6 weeks from initial agreement until the start of your edit. Timing depend upon how many projects I have scheduled before adding yours.
Payment terms: 25% of the fee when the commitment to work together is made; 25% a week before the edit is to begin; and the balance will be billed along with return priority mail postage upon completion of the work. Payment can be made by check, cashier's check, money order or PayPal. The amount will be mutually agreed upon before work begins. Payment terms for large projects can be negotiated.

Hard copy edits:
Double-spaced on 8 ½ x 11 white stock in a easily read type face, minimum 12 /14 typeface and spacing, 1 to 1-1/2 inch margins all around. If the ms. does not fall within these basic guidelines, the price may need to be amended. The billing rate will be confirmed or amended before any work is undertaken.
Online edits:
The project, formatted in the specs listed above, is sent via email as an attachment, or broken up into segments in multiple attachments. I work with the track changes function of Word, so the files need to be compatible. Or a CD can be sent via USPS priority mail. Further details will be worked out on an individual basis.
Shipping:
Applicable to edits done on a hard copy of the project. I usually recommend using Priority Mail through the US Post Office--it's relatively inexpensive, quick and can be tracked by adding the delivery confirmation option for sixty cents.
